99 POSSE AND MODENA CITY RAMBLERS are together on stage for the first time in Brussels, with a show never presented to the public before. The two bands – Italian symbol of social commitment and counterculture – will “fight” a battle at the last riff, with Raggamuffin, Rap, Dub and Combat Folk.
99 Posse is an Italian band created in 1991 in Naples.
Influenced by Bob Marley, Naughty by Nature, Mad Professor and so on, they make their name and their rap passing from a repeater to an other of the Italian antagonist background. The name of 99 Posse is synonym of commitment and culture and it is involved to bring the message of persistent nonconformity of social centers out of that community.
Modena City Ramblers (MCR) is an Italian band created in 1991.They self-define their musical genre as Combat Folk, showing since the beginning an unconditional love for the Irish folk. They use instrumental pieces from the folk tradition as basis for they pieces, as riff or solo.

Le due band, simbolo italiano di impegno sociale e controcultura, si cimenteranno in una sfida all’ultimo riff a colpi di Raggamuffin, Rap, Dub e Combat Folk.
I 99 Posse sono un gruppo musicale italiano creatosi nel 1991 a Napoli. Influenzati da Bob Marley, Naughty by Nature, Mad Professor e molti altri, fanno circolare il loro nome e il loro rap da un ripetitore all’altro della scena antagonista italiana. Il nome dei 99 Posse è sinonimo di impegno e di una cultura che opera per portare il messaggio di non allineamento dei centri sociali fuori da quella comunità.
I Modena City Ramblers (MCR) sono un gruppo musicale italiano creatosi nel 1991. Autodefiniscono il loro genere musicale come combat folk, dichiarando sin dall’inizio un amore incondizionato per il folk irlandese. Utilizzano brani strumentali della tradizione popolare come basi per loro brani, come riff o come assolo.
Hanno detto di loro che “al fianco del loro pubblico non sono solo idoli ma amici fraterni”.
